What We Do
—WELFARE & SOCIAL ASSISTANCE
We are touching lives of multinational refugees living in Nairobi with host citizens. This program is guided by our emergency policy that applies in times of global hardship & emergency cases. Through the program we aim to overcome issues mainly related to lack of basic needs in the needy families.
We believe in young refugees’ resilience. Self-reliance standards are instilled in nurturing talents and molding resilient skills/ procreative activities
— KIDS EDUCATION
Kid’s Education consists of providing support in education to many refugees’/ local kids from needy families, in various ways such as fees, uniforms etc
—MENTAL HEALTH: COUNSELING
Refugees have gone through a lot and still they live with trauma, depression & stress. We believe families can be better again once they are mentally stable. A sustainable self-reliance starts with mental stability. With this program we have witnessed so many families changing their lives. “Our mental health matters a lot for durable and sustainable development”
— TALENT & MENTORSHIP
The program consists of providing practical tools for creative vocational trainings on self-reliance standards.
— WOMEN EMPOWERMENT: HANDCRAFT & TAILORING
This program hosts women groups learning tailoring skills and at the same time we coordinate an economic empowerment by forming USLA groups for their families’ self-reliance standards.
